Overwhelmed? Discouraged? Tired? Excited?
Ready to take on the world???
That's normal - we just dumped a TON of information on you. Information that took most of us months/years to learn on our own or through indie friends/groups.
Let it sink in for a few days. Then take it one step at a time.
I would like to thank all of you who have popped in over the last few days! You made this conference successful and fun. So we appreciate your time, tweets, and thoughtful questions/comments. WE ended up with almost 20,000 unique visitors and about 1400 comments over the 3 days.
Now you can do one thing for us! (you knew there was one catch right? ;)
Tell us how we did by filling out this short survey! (it will help us tons!)

This was an amazing conference. Thanks so much to the hosts and presenters. I can't wait to put what I learned into practice.
ReplyDeleteThe wealth of information and expertise here has been absolutely invaluable and a phenomenal experience for me. Thank you so much to all the hosts, presenters, speakers, writers and sponsors! I've enjoyed this tremendously and would definitely attend/participate again! The best thing is that I've been able to attend this from home; and because I'm disabled and finances and mobility are major issues, I am very grateful to all of you for providing such a wonderful event for all writers! ~ Julie
ReplyDeleteThank you Shelli, Ali, all the wonderful posters and everyone! What a great conference!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much again! This was great! I am one of those people who were overwhelmed and I'll definitely will be taking a break, then coming back here!
ReplyDeleteThank you SO much! I did learn a lot and will have to let it percolate for a while before any of it is likely sink in. BUT, I have a new fervor to begin a process that only daunted me before. AND, I know that it is absolutely possible to earn a career as an indie author (I say earn, because it appears as though it is time for me to strap on my big girl booties and bust out the elbow grease). I was fairly certain I wanted to go self-pub before the conference, but was afraid that I would end up like a few friends of mine who spent more than they are making after over a year. That was disheartening to watch. But, like I said, I have a renewed hope in my ability to take my career in the direction I want it to go.
ReplyDeleteSo, THANK YOU!! I am following most of you on Twitter and look forward to your future insights. This has been great and timely. Thank you.
Had a blast and learned a lot. Thanks to every presenter, moderator, and everyone who gave up their time to share with and teach us.

So much information my brain is going to explode! Thank you everyone for putting this on. Wow. What a rich source of info. Although I'm wiped out from all the AWESOME here, I'm stoked. In the last three days my knowledge of the publishing world has tripled. Thanks a million!
ReplyDeleteWorth taking a day off from my day job to attend 'live' and catch up on the past two days! My brain is on fire. Thanks so much for doing this. Best takeaway are all the new connections! Writing can be lonely. It's nice to be with my people. Thanks for having me.

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the wonderful conference!
ReplyDeleteOne thing I didn't see room for on the survey - I'm an early morning person, so I turned off my computer about 4pm last night. Couldn't keep my partial eye open any longer. Perhaps the last night's giveaways could still be available until 8am the following morning.
Loved it! Very pleased you're doing it again. Thank you for all your hard work.
